Youth Justice Action Month 2026

Storm Lake Iowa

This year’s event was a day full of activity and community! We kept busy with dodgeball games, basketball tournaments, and a boxing basics session. Two piñatas, one for younger kids and one for older youth, closed us out with excitement. Thank you to the police department who served free tacos and Pizza Ranch for treating everyone to free cactus bread and sponsoring winning prizes.

Local businesses and community organizations also joined us to share their work! Beauty 4 Five sold makeup products, Team Warrior MMA and Seasons showcased what they offer the community, and Family Court talked about the work they’re doing in Storm Lake. Mia Garcia also sold beautiful, handmade bracelets.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out & to our partners for helping make the day a success. Every game, conversation, laugh, & connection planted a seed.

Together, we’re healing hearts. Growing leaders. Building futures. One seed at a time.
