Each year, the Coalition for Juvenile Justice hosts a national conference brining together juvenile justice practitioners, advocates, policymakers, and system stakeholders to discuss critical issues, share knowledge, and drive positive change within the juvenile justice and related systems. As part of this conference, the National Emerging Leaders Committee (ELC) hosts a dedicated Youth Summit, encouraging young leaders to collaborate and explore how we move beyond systems that ask young people to merely survive and instead build pathways for them to thrive.
The founder of Concrete Flowers, Audi Espinoza led workshops as part of the youth summit: Meet Our Culture, Share Our Culture and The Next Generation, closing with a call to action for all conference attendees to carry the work forward!
